1. Lead by Example
2. Don't underestimate the role as a supervisor: Being a supervisor means that employees see you differently.
3. Keep a positive focus.
4. Praise in public and reprimand in private.
5. Pitch in when there's a heavy load.
6. Learn everything about your office and your team members.
7. Never let them see you sweat.
8. Do not 'vent' in front of employees.
9. Focus on the solution and not the problem.
10. Maintain your professionalism.
11. Keep your personal life where it belongs.
