Dear Seniors, One of my friend working in a Manufacturing unit in Haryana region, Manpower Approx 600 (Include the contractor labour strength is 450).
His query is pertaining that Punjab Shop act 1958 is applicable to his factory or contractor manpower and as per section 23 of said act we are liable to pay the notice period of 7 days to terminated contractor workers or recover the same from the worker if he leaves the company without intimation on the continues service of three month(copy attached). Hoping for your valuable suggestion.
