Hey Folks,

It's been a long time since I posted a topic on this website. We are planning to have some events in our company for Christmas, starting from the second week of December. We (HR) are totally confused about how to go about it. We have plans like conducting games such as Secret Angel, Collage, arranging a Christmas tree, and cutting a cake.

I request you to kindly let me know what different games/activities we can organize for the occasion of Christmas/New Year.

Hi Pramod,

Maybe you guys could arrange for an indoor sports event, and the winners and runner-up could be given a treat at the Christmas celebration. Find out what the employees are interested in.

Passing the secret could be a nice and funny game, even if it's an old game. One can find out how information gets missed or added up during its travel from one person to another.

Scrabble, Ludo, etc., can also be played depending on the majority interest. Dumb Charades will also be enjoyable.

I fully agree with all those who have given sincere advice for Christmas celebration. In addition, you can consider the following suggestions:

1) Engage in creative activities such as collage making either on the spot or on the same day. You can also choose a theme and invite participation from all departments, with the best entry receiving an award.

2) Recognize individuals who demonstrate the best work practices or discipline, such as wearing a helmet, using seat belts while driving, and showing good parking etiquette.

3) Organize activities for children or wards, such as painting or recitation programs, to involve employees and their families.
