Hi All,
I work for a software development firm, and we have 50 employees. We diligently pay ESI for 6 people and PF for all employees. Recently, we adjusted the salaries, ensuring that nobody receives less than 10,000/-. Do we need to continue paying ESI for them? Please confirm. If there is an official link available, kindly refer me to the same.
Thanks,

Hi Vignesh ESI applicability has been revised till 15000/- since more than a year. So even the salary is above 10000/- then it is applicable.

Thank you, Jeeva.
Can you provide me with a simple spreadsheet to calculate on a monthly basis? Since there are only 6 members, I can do it in a single shot. I want to rectify the errors that have occurred and streamline this as soon as possible.
Thanks,

For ESIC nowadays, you don't need to calculate anything by yourself. Just log in to [ESIC](http://www.esic.in) with your given user ID and password provided by ESIC. Then, you only have to do some data entry such as working days and salary. After that, everything will be calculated by the system itself.

Hi Vignesh,
The concept of Rs. 10,000 has been changed to Rs. 15,000, which is the gross salary. To remit your monthly returns, you should first have login credentials for the ESI site. Log in to the site, and on the right-hand side, you will find the monthly contributions link. Click on it, and a new window will open. From this page, you can download the "MC TEMPLATE." Enter the data into this Excel sheet and upload it on the same page. This will create a challan with the amount to be paid in the bank. Once you have filled out your company's ESI monthly returns, you are done.
