My company is an international firm operating services in Poultry feed manufacturing and Poultry farm. I am an HR Officer. The issue we are facing is with the poultry farm workers regarding the wages. We have fixed a daily wage of 157/-, but now they have stopped working and are demanding an increase in the daily wages.
Kindly let me know under which act the wages of these farm workers fall. Please do not mention the Shops & Establishment Act as this is related to the agricultural field. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated as this is very urgent.
