The topic is “DIGITAL & SOCIAL MEDIA: LEVERS AND ITS IMPACT ON HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT.” This is a part of our HCMNEXT2013 series where we plan to hold a series of seminars on emerging subjects that concern the Human Capital community.
As you are aware Social Media has captured the imagination of all age groups and across industry segments. I believe, there is a huge potential to for the HR community to leverage this medium and make an impact on the corporate world. Perhaps, this is the last opportunity for the fraternity to make its presence felt and occupy a seat at the table. That said, you will agree that very little work has been done in India in this regard, whereas, the subject is being embraced widely in the western world as well as the APAC region.
Our objective is to create awareness in the fraternity. Additionally, expose them to the new age media, the available products and of course, the potential of the medium.
