Can we use industrial LPG cylinders for welding/brazing or cutting purposes. If it is allowed to use what all safety precautions should I take to avoid any kind of incidents?

LPG cylinders are commercial and NOT industrial. For industry, there is an acetylene cylinder to be used. However, the establishment has to obtain approval from:
1) Factory Inspector (Chief)
2) Fire Department
3) Pollution Department
before starting to use them.

@Prashant,
The appropriate response may be with the Ministry of Petroleum and/or the Chief Inspector of Factories. There are several uses of commercial gas, from restaurants to heating of plants. Direct exposure/use of LPG (propane) is always restricted in the Indian environment.
This is an HR forum where we discuss HR solutions, not the chemistry of Oxyacetylene vs. propane gas compositions and uses.
