I never came across such situations or heard but u can do it at the end of the day like what u have done for the day. I think they just want to know the updates from HR and Admin End.

Even me too,but it is very difficult to compile, some times we use to be in admin work continuously, do you think is it possible to sit in middle to make a note or entry of the work done .
I don't no whether im right or wrong ?Pls guide me.

Yes i can understand the situation da, make an alternate plan like send the mails important issues when ever u have time, which need to be addressed, and same thing communicate with the Operation head this is how i will work it out and explain the whole situation and make sure u keep a record of it.

well about possibilities can’t say but yes it is not appropriate actually. A Head of Operation has no concern and no rights to ask HR & Admin Department for their daily activity report.
Second, please share more about him, your firm and your role. Is he the only senior person of your company? Is this a small business firm you are working where he is one of very few seniors/HODs because It generally happens with small business units (One Command Orgs)

Reason for this question , bcoz we maintain a sheet for recruitment separately , which can be access by hr team and head, further we use online chat for regular issues (its used among all employees) .
Any way ,better option sending mails on important issues for record .

Well after getting your answers, I would request you to consider your own query first. You already know that he is the main and senior person of your company no matter in which post or position he is or from which department, deserve the rights to ask you for daily activity report, therefore your own query is contradictory actually.
You already know the answer of your question (how it is possible to do?) and for your information Health Care Companies /Industries have different work system, procedure and policy (rules & regulations) then other industries. There Operations heads who are responsible for taking care of almost everything sometime deserve the rights to control the HR System being only commanding authority. Also the HR system in Small Health Care Company is different Industrial HR System which you need to understand.
So far you already have much response and I believe you got the answers of your questions.

I agree that it is too hectic to send a report of activities every day to the seniors. However, having been asked to do, there is no point deliberating e on the issue as to why such report every day more so when you are not in a position to convince them about the futility of such exercise(according to you) but the seniors may have their own reasons. Now the need of the hour is as to how to prepare such report. It is difficult to prepare a narrative report on various activities you undertake daily as it is time consuming and eats up your quality work time. I therefore suggest you to devise a format of report on daily activities. You know as to what daily activities you conduct as HR.For example, you check attendance. List them out and prepare a format on the lines given below .this is only a suggested format. You can modify to suit your needs.

Though I arranged it in table form in word format, itis getting disturbed when poste in citehr.You can have table with three columns namely S.No; Activity ; Status reort.and fill the data under respective column)

If no format has been devised by the Controlling office, just devise a format as above, this does not take much time and at the same time given birds eye view of the activities undertaken by you.

Hi All,
My Sister joined a leading software company a week back in Chennai where she was asked to submit her original certificate and she did the same even before she was told about her salary package. Now she feels that she has been let down with a very low package and cheated by the HR and she wants an out.
