Dear Ajit,
Its good to see the formation of the HR club in ur Campus.
Tips:
1. Name the Club.
2. Select a Logo that resembles the name.
3. Organize events in the name of the club.
Events like
1. Management meets
Invite other MBA colleges to participate in the competitions such as
a. Management Quiz
b. Market Makers

2. Sports meets
3. Cultral programmes
4. Involve ur juniors in the avtivities of the club so that they
do not face problems when they r organizing such events.
5. Maintain unique dress code.
6. Anniversary of the club at the end of every year.
7. Invite Industralists/HR Managers to such functions.
8. Make a governing body of 5 members from the students

Such as
a. Cordinator
b. Public Relations Executive
c. Secratary
d. Finance Executive
e. Event Executive/Programme Executive
Finally Budget is very important
Talk to the Management/HOD for the right support.
Collect money from the students & make it as treasure better open a BANK account.

Hi Ajit,
Jagadeesh has covered all issues in details..
But would like to add one thing that..many times clubs start with loads of enthusiasm which peters out over a short period..just like a product life of a consumer product..
Would suggest that Club should take the Key HR issues and form a discussion groups to present the paper/write articles based on inputs from the Industry..this way all members gain insight & learn a thing or two..
Cheers,
Rajat
