Dear Amit,
Yesterday, I came to know about the attendance policy in a company, so please find below the attendance policy with tardiness.
1. Attendance: The company has installed a Proximity Card Reader at the entrance of the office, and you are provided with an Identity cum Proximity card, which you need to swipe on the machine to record your attendance. You need to strictly adhere to the work schedule assigned to you.
2. Timings: The general office timings are from 8:30 A.M. in the morning to 5:30 P.M. in the evening, with a one-hour break for lunch from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. The reporting time to the office (8:30 A.M.) will have a grace period of 10 minutes. Employees arriving at the office after the reporting time will have to undergo a loss of pay for that day, with an exception of two such late arrivals per month. The above-mentioned rules will not apply if:
a. The employee is under a flexible work schedule; or
b. The employee has notified his superior in advance of the late arrival for that day.
The above information will guide you regarding late arrivals.
