Dear friends,

Hi, I'm Anjali from Bangalore. I am a new Executive - HR in the company. This is my first job, so please help me. Please send me HR policies for food industries and also share the leave letter formats for casual leave, maternity leave, and sick leave. Additionally, please provide information on the documents and policies HR follows. I value your opinion.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Anjali,

The leave policy needs to be prepared based on the provisions of the Shop & Establishment Act. According to the Karnataka Shop & Establishment Act, an employee is eligible for PL (1 leave for every 20 working days) and CL/SL (1 leave per month). PL can be carried forward for up to 30 days, while CL/SL will lapse every year in December.

It is important to maintain Form F & H for leave records.

Feel free to call or revert for any assistance.
