I worked in an MNC company for 1 year, and I have not withdrawn my PF. It has been more than 1 year since I left the company. Will I be able to withdraw the PF amount? Please give me the details as I am in urgency.

Dear Ms. Gunjan,
Greetings for the day:)
Normally, you have to get it signed by the previous employer, but if the previous employer is not signing it, then you have some other options as well. You can get it signed by some other authorities also.

Yes, the PF amount does not go anywhere; it is deposited with the government. You can directly approach the PF company with your relieving letter and collect the necessary form to be duly filled and submitted. Once you get the forms, you will need to go to your old office, take necessary stamps and signatures, and resubmit to the PF office. You can even go to your office and ask them, but that will take time; hence, you can do it on your own.
