Hi Folks,
How do we get HR policies evaluated for a new company,
I have recently joined a start up company and finished making the
policies and procedures. Who would be the right person/s or system to get them evaluated.

Internally it can be done by a crossfunctional team who is lead by the owner of the documentation who will actually authorise the version of the policy. The team members should understand very well the processes in their function and linkages with other function. They need to be able to look at strategic activities and should be experienced in the operations of a particular policy which is being designed.
You can also give it to a management consultant to validate this.
I am currently working on a similar project and have just defined the first draft for a Senior Executive in a Company in India. This is for their Foreign Travel Policy.
