Hi Anjali,
thanks
The Pvt. sector generally have flexible approach unlike the PSUs and trend is :-
Assume an executive is deputed to other location say for six months..
* His salary component has a variable component called a special Allowance or deputation allowance which is about 20-40 % of CTC.
* His lodging & boarding expense is taken care off.
* Company takes care off his travel of his spouse n kids - three trips only.
* His telephone limits - personal calls is borne by the company as per the reasonable limits as agreed upon on mutually basis.
* His travel expense to the location where his family is based on weekends is paid by the company - two trips per month.
Hope this information helps.

I was on a trip to Delhi from Mumbai. The company in which my fiancé was working showed interest in hiring me, and they said I'll handle things from Mumbai, which is my hometown. In Delhi, they gave me a stay with my fiancé for the induction period. Later, I started operating from Mumbai. They wanted more manpower in Delhi, so they asked me to book my own flight (please note this), and they reimbursed the amount after 2 months.

My fiancé left the company as he wasn't comfortable. They asked me to move out as they didn't allow my fiancé to stay in my room. Also, they didn't pay me money to travel from the residence to the office. They promised to give me a flight allowance once a month, but during a serious emergency, they gave me no money to fly.

Neither did they pay my fiancé for his travel back to his hometown as he was called by them to work there. Can you help me understand how I can claim the money I spent due to the company?
