Home Based Call Center Agents are of two types . One work as an employee and log in everytime they start work through a remotes server on VPN Network. They log out when work is done. They get paid by their employer just like it is when they are in a regular workplace. There is both direction and supervision and control rests outside the house with the Supervisor.
The other is actually an Independent Contractor or a Small Business Owner working as a Freelance Agent and getting paid for performance. This works best when there is an entity to support the Home Based Entrepreneur and an effective training program in both process know/operational knowhow and training know how for sales is available.
Profiling plays an important key and a perfect match is something you need to be looking for when you evaluate the program. Lastly it is to be started as an additional income resource , a back up for the "pink slip" and worked to make it a proven business model before you kick your job and settle down in "pajamas" to work from home.
