hi,
i am a new joiner. i have a query regarding obtaining of license under the labour contract act. we undertake contract for the erection of mobile tower for various clients hence we become the contractor and the client become the principle employer, but we don't employ any contract labour to excute such work. One of the client's legal advisor is insisting us to take the license stating that once we become the contractor all our employees even if they are permanent will be considered as contract labour. Is it true. Are we suppose to take the license. PLease help.
