Dear Seniors,
I write here to seek advise from you on the possible course of action that can be taken by me against a specific recruitment agency going by the name of Idgize (www.idgize.com). The company is helmed by a certain Mr Ganesh Iyer, who may be looked up on linked in. He portrays himself as a "C" level hiring expert.
A few months ago, Mr Iyer saw my profile on a job recruitment portal and contacted me on behalf of his client (a bank) for a prospective job opening. As i was interested in the role being offered, an interview was arranged between the client and myself. While the client decided upon my candidature, Mr Ganesh Iyer started interacting with me on a regular basis, knowing clearly that i was looking out for a change in my professional life.
For a few weeks, the client kept calling me back for follow up interviews (3 in total) but after the final interview, they did not approach further. Meanwhile i met with Mr Iyer to understand his expertise in recruiting senior level management and he spoke eloquently about how many people he has placed at that level. The interactions with Mr Iyer continued (always initiated by him) where he harped upon the sheer number of vacancies that are lying with him.
As i was desperately looking to change, and keeping in mind that the interview with the bank had been initiated by him, i decided to take a leap of faith and decided to sign a contract with Idgize. As soon as Ganesh knew that i was signing the contract, he called me at least 20 times a day to make the advance payment. Himself and his employee Swati Sangani who are hand in glove in this setup refused to let an hour pass before reminding me to make the payment. Once i paid out the advance amount, Ganesh Iyer, Swati Sangani and the whole staff of Idgize simply disappeared. I was chasing Ganesh for interview calls which he had promised before being paid. He kept giving me dates to when he might be able to fix something up for me.
Soon after, i realized i had been taken for a ride and in a moment of emotion and desperation, i had paid out to a fraud. Their contract says 100 day placement guarantee and money back if not placed. The 100 days have long since passed and i have been following up for the money consistently but he refuses to pay back. All i hear from him are excuses like i'm out of town, i am sending a bearer's cheque, i have transferred 50% of the amount to the account, which are blatant lies.
On top of this, if you call him up he speaks very rudely, both with me and my wife and hangs up the phone.
I would like to know what action i can initiate (if any) against this particular gentleman for the fraud they are running. I have proofs by way of Contract and bank transfer of advance amount. While i understand my money may not be forthcoming anymore but i want to call this out so that others are wary of Mr Ganesh Iyer and Ms Swati Sangani of Idgize.
Awaiting a response at the earliest.
Thanks.

1. How much money have you paid?
2. Have you sent a legal notice to him? (you don't need a lawyer to send that... you can contact me and I can help you draft a letter)
3. Send him a registered letter and an email for the notice.
4. File a complaint at a consumer forum.
5. File an FIR.
5. Go to his office with someone who is assertive and get your money out!! (This is the most easy way out and works in most of the cases)
Call me if need be. You are in my prayers....

Fraud Company Idgize - Ganesh Iyer CEO ; Swati Sangani - COO
================================================== ==========
This is to inform you that I have been cheated by a Fraud Company called Idg India - Idgize owned by CEO Mr Ganesh Iyer from Malad(w) Mumbai & his partner in Crime COO Swati Sangani. He takes money under pretext that he will provide a better career opportunity thru Premium Recruitment Advisory Services (PRAS) agreement. As per agreement if he is not able to offer the same he will refund the money after termination of agreement by either side. I realized afterwards that he is Fraud & doesnt have any standing in the market place so I cancelled the agreement. I am following with them for refunding my money as per agreement for last 2 months & they are giving all false promises or not responding to my communication and not returning my money.
Please be aware of this FRAUD & dont fall into their Trap.
