Hello every one ,
This is jyoti , i would like to know that is it possible that the percentage of basic salary for two employees can differ in a same company. for example if A employees get 7ooo rupees then his basic salary percentage is 41% and B employee gets 15000 per month then his basic salry percentage is 30 % . is it possible , plz guide me .

Yes. It is possible. There is no any restrictions for salary structure.
But if you make 41% Basic for 7000/- the the basic wages will be lesser than minimum wages act. So you are not complying to Minimum wages act.
More over even PF department will ask you the reason to make 30% as basic. As basic is less than 6500 you will be not in a position to answer them. Its better to make atleast 50%

salary scale can be different...so the resultant basic/hra also will be different with diffrnt grade pay...
eg--
5200-3%-25000
16500-6%-56000
but the percentage of basic and hra for calculation of ctc/salary will be same for all grades,irrespective of all positions ie. 50% of gross /40% of gross etc...this will not be changed..this is my experience in a public ltd company..but yes in various pvt ltd, i have seen cases where basic/hra calculation differs,mainly in workmen levels , as the employer tries to avoid few statutory obligations regarding contributions..so this happens..
