Where are you employed? Does your union is recognised by your Co. under the Trade Union Act as a single bargaining representative on behalf of all employees having been elected thus.
Under this act, a nominal amount towards subscription/membership fee can be deducted from the salary of the members of the union and such recovered money will be paid to the recognised union by your Co.
