Hi
I facilitated a session with HR managers to review their hiring process. Using Lean Six Sigma methods we identified ways to reduce the recruitment processing time from 106 days to 60 days. If you want further details send me a mail.

Hi,
Six Sigma is a disciplined approach that focuses on reducing/minimizing the variation to get a near perfect product. It is a buisness philosophy or you can say management strategy to achieve gains by reducing/eliminating defects, improving the capability of your processes whatever it may be.We can apply this in Productivity improvement,Customer relations,Market growth etc.
In turn what we get is motivated employees,Satisfied customers, good profits etc.

Hi
I have had several requests for more information on how LEAN methods were used to reduce the recruitment lead time from 106 days to 60 days. Please find attached a few ppt slides outlining the work I carried out whilst at GE.
I am happy to share my experience with others at CiteHR. The cheapest option for all concerned is a conference call on Skype. Send me an invite on Skype - Prajita People Development - and then I can set up a 60 min conf call for all those interested.

Dear Ranjit,

Presentation of course is good, but there is no break up of 106 days or 65 days in the presentation how and which of the activities took 106 days earlier and how and with what kind of efforts (in brief) the period could be reduced to 65 or 60 days.

That would be fine if you add the same in your presentation to make it more valuable.

Dear Mr Dhingra,
I am happy to share the LEAN processes used in reducing recruitment lead time but I am sure you appreciate the commercial sensivities in disclosing company-specific information in detail.
Exactly where GE was able to reduce its recruitment time is of little consequence, but understanding how to use LEAN techniques in your company to reduce your company's recruitment process time would - in my opinion - be more valuable.
As per my previous posting - happy to set up a conference call on Skype for those interested in a more detailed discussion. Ping me on Skype - Prajita People Development.
thanks
