There is a ton of information about HR Policies already posted here on CiteHR by other members.
This question is asked several times every single week, over and over again.
Please use the reSearch Box at the top of every page.

Dear Mr. Arora/ Mr. John,
I am agreed that, you persons might be very busy with your schedules...!
But this type of reactions can not be accepted from a HR Professional.
Dear Mr. Verma,
The culture of your may be very diffirent from the other services industries, b'coz the employees are so educated that you can not convince them easily but, you can utilize their brain in to the system and productivity.
Just observe for some days, dont react to any one, identify the lacunas then ask anyone or take coperation from the site as more & more genious persons are involved.
Thanking You,
Bapuji Kumar Sahu

Mr. Sahu,

It seems you havent read the terms and conditions of this place while joining us and as you are talking about professionalism, i would like to tell you that this is also not ethical to ask something without showing your own efforts..

How can you agree with putting a massage for something without getting by your own stuff/search and i dont thing one can have a little knowledge that he/she cant go to Google for their needs..

For any other thing one can get the help of Google but cant search the required things..is this right??

Anyway with asking the peoples to search themselves for their stuff, there is a motive and guess you didnt get it. We always want the other to go to the other/old threads where we have discussed the same topic and many of member have put their comments and participated bcz by doing this, one will improve their knowledge on the same.

Its not like that we have a very busy schedule or not in mood to answer this thread but if we do, first thing will do that we will steel a chance from other to get his/her knowledge improved.

You must understand that this will also increase the multiple data on the same topic on this place and also will create the difficulties to find the actual things in a quick way..

For example if we answer the same things to every individual, we are creating multiple copies and when one will try to get the same and want a specific answer of his/her question, wud hv to go to all these multiple threads..

Its your first thread Mr. Bapuji Kumar Sahu, I hearty welcome you in our CiteHR family and wish you will get every possible help and solution of query/post/question or any thing you want from this place with best cooperation!!

Hope you understand my point of view.

Best of Luck

One of the major strengths of Cite HR is the fact that there is a wealth of material already posted here by other members on almost every HR topic one can imagine.

The reSearch Box is large, noticeable and on EVERY SINGLE PAGE, but still no-one sees it!!!!

Very few people can be bothered to search FIRST. Everyone wants an easy answer and let someone else do the work.

Many people use the excuse of TIME. Well let me tell you something about TIME and how to make your so-called busy life more productive.

If you need some information, you come to CiteHR, you post a message and you wait maybe an hour or so, maybe a day even to get your answer. What a waste of YOUR VALUABLE TIME that you think is so precious to you. What is the alternative? Well it is easy, you come to CiteHR, you type a query into the reSearch Box, you scan the results and you get your answer in maybe 2 or 3 minutes. Now, you tell me which is the best use of your valuable TIME. So, please don't waste my or fellow CiteHR members' TIME with spurious arguments about how busy you are.

Use the resources that are here already and learn to how to research and synthesize information to solve your problems. It is a skill that will be very valuable to you as you progress in your career, and as you become better at it, it becomes a strength you can highlight on CV's and in interviews.

Mr. Anil,
Your nobal thoughts on self learning is inspiration for fresher. But i believe there is a way to convey your thoughts. Sorry to say but your first reply was bit RUDE.
As far as searching information in concern CiteHR is one of the tool to get information & that is what Mr. Varma is doing by posting his query. How can you state that he has not done any research for what he is looking for.
His intention might be to get some information from the experts or seniors who are in profession for many years.
Hope you take this in a right way.

Hello Ojaswani, guess you forget that there is nothing which cant be get by searching and if one will try, will definitely get the same.

Second i was not surprised to get this kind of reply by someone. Actually i know that peoples are not ready to accept the thing as they are. I wont say that you never try to understand what I and Avanti were tried to convey to the member but wud say that we were failed to get you understand what we actually want from the students/beginner and other peoples here..

I and Avanti has mentioned clearly and has presented the example to clear the query but ...Well Ojaswani, I wud say if one sincerely accept this "Self Learning" concept will never say that our comments are hard or we are saying anything wrong.

You said that CiteHR is one of the tool to get information, yes!! but CiteHR is not just a place to get information only but to learn, to share knowledge and experience, to help the peoples in their queries and with answers.

About "Self Learning" Searching or getting the answers of our questions/query by our own efforts, comes under the concept of self learning dear...

Perhaps my comments made you feel bad but again i wud say one need to learn how to use this place or any other professional place. Certainly CiteHR is a great place and one can always look for his/her need and ask for the CiteHR peoples by posting on this place but it doesnt mean, one need not to make his/her own efforts and started looking for Cite peoples or others to get their need fulfill. Do you really want the same???? thats what you want???

Do you really believe it is the right way to post their query and get the answers but never try to get the same by their own effort even when we have a GOOGLE and many things and one dont need to ask for for anything to anyone. Well I dont think there was anything wrong what i said.

And what Mr. Varma were doing by posting? Has he told you that he have made his search and cudnt get the answers of this question and subsequently he post his query on this place to get the answers..is it??

Ok let me ask you something..you say anything or any topic and give me whatever you want or Mr. Google was not able to get you the same or was not able to fulfill your need. I'll help you out to get the same by using SEARCH or Mr. Google.

I dont think there is any single person who need something and will never go to Google SEARCH. And if one try to use SEARCH option will automatically bring to the topic or related article/page (Professional Place i.e. CiteHR), which is far better then just posting a query/question on a place bcz by using SEARCH, one not just get the things what he/she is looking for but noticed every single word related to concern and many things and learn alot by this opportunity.

I dont think the students and the other peoples are ready to lose this great opportunity to learn the things and do prefer to put the questions/query on a place like CiteHR without using SEARCH or making their own effort.

I would like to discuss this with Students and the beginner specially what they think on this...

Hope you understand my point of view..
