Dear Seniors,
I have been working in a dot com industry as a junior data analyst since last two years and want to switch my career in HR Department but I have no any HR responsibility or experience in current company and I am pursuing MBA-HR (1st Semester).
The problem is there is that my senior dont want to give me any kind of hr responsibility or hr related work he want to have me only as a Data Analyst cause there is no any other other person who can handle data related work and there is a limited career scope in data analyst.
and it is too difficult to get an hr executive job there which have two reason:--
1) I have no HR experience
2) I have not yet completed my PGHRDM (MBA-HR)
If I would join HR industry after completion of my MBA then total I would have 4 Year wasted in Data Management
plz give me the suitable suggestion and solution as I am very puzzled.
I am waiting of your response:icon14::icon14:

I will go with the solution that Pundalikhr has suggested.
I myself hv worked with BPO industry for 2 yrs and tried to get the oPtion in the same comPay where i was working but i dnt get any chance to show my caPabilities there and same situation was with me as i was Pursuing my MBA thru distance learning.
then i moved to a consulting firm as a recruiter and got good exposer there and got two permotions and within 1.6 yrs of the consulting exp. now i hv got a middle menegerial position in a good organisation on a good salary package.
I will suggest either you join sm good consulting company or contact to consultants who cn help you to find option in HR system in other Industry..

Hi Bro,
I too have posted the same question like yours, If I were in your situation, I will start searching job in HR filed try any small or mid level company where there is exposure.. Networking is very important.. just ask your friends and get into assistant level. I hope HR filed is not like the data process where you will monotonousely just have to do the same task again and again in HR field you have the opportunity to always prove yourself meanwhile don't waste your time and just enroll yourself into some diplo or certificate course like Diploma in labour law from annamalai university, and certifications related to payroll etc.. all are there just search CITEHR you will get lot to know bro.
All the best..
Inform me when you get the job.... Keep triying don't leave your hope....

its better to search for a new job as HR. Because very few companies give the chances to lower level people to show their capabilities in higher tasks. if you get job in HR field at any level like at least attendance monitoring... etc. it will helpful to your career than data analyst. why do you feel that your past experience is waste if you go for any interview for fresher position then you can get shortlist than other fresh candidates.
