Dear Abhi,
Its is not possible for you change your past experience as hr/admin.....
Because both responsibilities will differ.....
If interviewer asked about the Hr areas in detail, you could not able to answer..... Moreover you will be caught in the background verification.......
Show ur past experience as it is....... Then try for Hr.......
You will be getting job........ Explain them why you want to choose Hr.......
But make sure its your career..... Don't let any one to decide.....
Think and act because its your life........
All the best.

Dear Abhi
Why cant you try in different angle.
Please go politely to HR Department in your company, Try to help them in Filing, Typing their correspondence, If HR Manual is not ready in your organisation, you help them in preparing the HR manual, If you politely request the Department, surely they will give the HR manual, start reading the same in your free time. Develop your knowledge by asking more question in office. Do google and find out the reply from net, CiteHR and other relevant websites.
Try. Search. If you Search properly, you can find even the God. Surely you will get the opportunity whatever you deserve.
All the Best Abhi.

Hello Abhi Sharma,
I too agree with Bharathi w.r.t your suggestion about projecting a HR exp rather than your Actual exp.
More than the strong probability that you would be caught sooner than later, I would suggest that you TOTALLY BANISH such thoughts from your mind since ONE JUST CAN'T CARRY A FAKE EXP FOR LONG. You will not only NOT get what you wanted [career in HR], but most likely even loose what you have in hand.
Coming to 'what you can do' to get into HR line, apart from the line-of-action what S. Bhaskar mentioned, you can also try for such openings which are a combination of PA/EA PLUS some admin activities/responsibilities. This way, you will still carry your actual exp along AND can utilize your MBA to get an entry into HR THRU the Admin Role route. I have seen companies that admit such a combination.
But ALL THE WHILE, pl remember that your Final Focus is to get into HR--which would be easier thru Admin route. Hope you get the point.
All the Best.

Point No. 1:
TS, BOSS, PON, & Bharti,
I dont think if you really come across such a case you would recruit that person, you would rather recruit a person having more exp in HR. So literally this advice will not do any good to abhi. BEcause i observed that HR in interview does not think so if u have choice of abhi and 3 other candidates who are experienced in HR i dont htink you will select abhi, so lets be practical and suggest something which will help abhi to get a good job.
Now coming to abhi let me tell you since you have done MBA in HR you can very well fake the experience of HR, anyways there is nothing as such experience in HR, all the same, talk sweet and be sweet and eat sweet. There is no HR in government organisation so your MBA in HR will do no good. So best thing you can do is since you are MCOM either move to accounts or to HR. Just befriend some good friend who can explain you what is HR, actually there is nothing in HR, kuch bhi nahi hain, HR involves little of everything little admin, statutory rules, little accounting knowledge HR, payroll, and soft skills anyone can learn that soft skills so first learn that HR soft skills from some good friend and prepare good experience letter and keep some good references inhand, in case it is verified. Once you create all backup then, you can easily get a job.

livesoul,
Any profession which was seen from outside seems to be very simple or nothing until you are involved. Every profession has got its own skill sets and intricacies. Other discipline professionals are not competent to come to a conclusion about a specific profession. I am in Engg and if you look from outside what I am doing, you can comment as very simple work and any layman can perform my duties & responsibilities. But that is not the reality. Why companies and organisations are recruiting the relevant professionals for the relevant positions?. They could have gone ahead in appointing any discipline candidates at lower cost band if your logic applies.

Dear Abhi,
If you change your cv as Hr executive......... You will be considered as fresher..
Now a days most of the company is searching for experienced in HR..........Only few small firms will recruit fresher...
See Manager/Dy Manager, both are good position actually...... These positions are more challenging than HR..
Moreover you can settle in life.... My suggestion is, you can go with ur field as you cannot start as fresher...
You take your final decision as i mentioned earlier......

First you learn all HR facts and procedures from some good HR person and then fake experience. you see we take driving license and learn driving but the small 10-14 yr old boy who works in garage does not even have license but knows to drive cars, because he did not have certificate but he got experience life is also like this only friend.
