I have lost my experience letter & original relieving letter from IBM. I have photo copy of relieving letter which is mentioned with only last working day.
Can any one help me if this is possible to get the same from IBM and to whom I need to contact.

May be you have to file an FIR with a Police Station where U lost the original and get an extract of FIR or ack. of the station i/c. Enclose this copy with an application and meet the official who signed the experience letter seeking a duplicate of your experience letter. This will serve as a proof of having lost your original. I think this will help U. This procedure could be adopted by anybody who lost the valuable documents in order to obtain authentic duplicates.
All U people learn one thing(k), nowadays colour xeroxes look better than the originals itself. So make sure you all take colour xerox of all your originals so that you all can lose them liberally.

I dont think you need to worry about it. Dont know in which city you are, but if you have a branch of IBM there, go there directly and do the formalities. This is better than emailing and waiting for response from them. You would get it instantly (if FIR is not required). Also, take the print out of the existing ones to show them as proofs.

I think all the HR in a company have data of the previous and present employees working with them,whether they are on contract or permanent basis with their employee identification number. If you contact them and tell them about your problem they will definitely try to solve it out.

seems that is generic mail id for all people who seperated from IBM, but not sure how much time they will take to respond.
I am currently in USA and I badly need it for applying my extension.
