Hi
First tell me is there any leave policy? If anything so then follow the same. If not is there any Marriage leave for self? Does he/she is having any EL in their account if so then he/she can avail those. Else as special consideration you shall permit for Advance Leave else at the least case deduct salary

Dear Susheeladayanand,
It is depend upon the company policy, if there is any such leave then give to the employee if not give the leaves from the current leave balance.
If the employee is having no leave balance then give advance leave if possible else deduct that.
Simple and Clear.

Dear Susheela,
An employee applying for marriage leave is payable if he / she applies under EL / PL and has 10 days of EL / PL.
If she has only 5 PL days, then 5 days will be be paid and remaining 5 days will be deducted from the salary.

Dear Susheeladayanand,
Following factor can be considered:-
1. Company is registered under factory act 1948 or not, if yes than EL under saction 79 of factory act work subject to employee completed 240 days of successful service in the organisation, eligibility of leave after completion of 240 days is one leave on every 20 days.
2. Company is not register under said act than see the leave policy of organisation.
3. Beside EL, Company has to pay CL (Casual Leave) which is 7 to 10 days vary organisation to organisation. Days can be adjusted with this but keeping the balance of leave in mind.
May above will help you in your decision.
