Hello Hr Team, I have a query. I am working in a PVT ltd company for 9 years and would like to change/transfer into another department.
During the internal transfer to another position/ department. Please confirm do I need to submit the Joining formalities again.

I think that the query has been raised basically to ascertain whether the past service would get affected by the transfer. If the transfer is within the same organization like intra-departmental one, it will not affect the service rendered before the transfer.

The term "transfer of an employee" implies change of post within the organization with or without change of place. Therefore, exchange of charges of the posts at both ends would certainly require the formalities of relieving and joining unless the transfer orders specifies the holding of additional charge of one of the posts simultaneously.

Certain posts involving the handling of materials or cash would require the assumption of charge of such assets on hand on the very date of joining. In such a situation relieving or joining formalities cannot be skipped for the sake of administrative convenience.

NO; transfer is an incidence of service involving change of post or place of the employee within the same organization anytime after his/her entry into service. Therefore, resubmission of the credentials of the employee is not required.
