Hi,
I am planing to withdraw my PF. I left my organization 1 year back. By the time of reliving they gave me form 19 and 10C.
According to the PF withdrawal procedure It should be attested by the former employer. In case attestation by the former employer is not possible, it should be got attested by any other authorized official specified with application form.
what is the procedure to get assistance from any other authorized official. Is it on the same application form or do we need to fill any other forms.
Please help me in this..
Thank you,
Vasanthi

Dear Basanthi,
You may ask your previous employer to send duly attested forms which you will deposit in PF office for withdrawl.
Or you sign the form and send to previous employer and they will take care as it is employer responsible.

You can get the same forms (form 19 and form 10C) attested (in fact the official is attesting your signature and not other details in the form) by the Manager of the Bank where you have your SB account (which is mentioned in the form as SB account to which the amounts should be transferred) or by a gazetted officer, MP, MLA etc. and send it to PF Office. Also attach a cancelled cheque so as to enable electronic fund transfer possible. The PF office on getting the forms will call for your form 3 A and break certificates from your employer and settle the payment.

Dear Experts,
A friend of mine want to withdraw his PF, However his ex employer is not ready to attest the claim forms. This has been going for last 1-2 years.
In the absence of the employers sign he approached his bank manager to get his forms attested. The manager is ready but will sign only when he gets EPF circular stating so.
Earlier my friend submitted the claim forms attested by a notary as suggested by many experts on this forum, but the EPFO clerk is denying this attestation.
If any one of you have copy of the circular please upload it. It will be highly appreciated.
Thanx

Please see that this thread was stared some time in 2011. At that time, the attestation by the bank manager was accepted. But now with adhar linked self withdrawal and many other facilities opened to members, the attestation by Bank Managers are accepted only if the establishment is closed and employer who has to sign the form is not traceable. You may try online submission of form or you can complain to the PF commissioner of the same.
