Dear Vihari, Company has authority to terminate him or her is taking leaves without intimating their reporting officer.

As far as is concerned Absenteeism we need to follow the following while discharing the employee.
A.Procedure laid down under the Certified standing orders of the company.
A simple recall letter to be issued asking him to report for duty.
In case if he do not report send 2nd Recall letter followed by the Charge sheet/show cause as the case may be follw the paper advt asking him to report for duty preferably in a local news paper and then a simple enquiry Procedure and final notice of discharge.
