Also surf the net on preparing the foll:-
1. Interview Questions like Tell us something about yourself
2. Challenges faced by you
3. Strenghs / Opportunities in you
4. Key Achievements of your's.
Read everything about the co. including the financilas and see the magic as you bloom with confidence.
Just follow the above mentioned and then give me a party after selection.

Hi Nandini!
I feel that you should be telling them your experience as it would help you in filling up the gap from the time u finished ur education till now, otherwise the gap would become a negative point. The interviewer might think that u r incompetent to get a job anywhere. I understand your concern that the consulatncy experience is not considered good, but still u see something is better than nothing, so it wud be gud to tell ur experience rather than telling them that u were sitting idle till now.
And regarding the preparation, keep urself updated with latest happenings in the HR field. And prepare urself with ample ideas that u can give them when they ask u about lowering down the attrition rate, how can u keep the employees motivated, and such related matters.

Tandeep

Hi
Its always better to be trasnparent because when you are on the other side of the table interviewing some one you would expect the same. The essence is certainly to crack the interview and get through but at the same time your integrity and honesty will always pay you rich dividend. Its a fact that they have calld you now ,so in ther interim any one would expect you to be engaged with any organization.
As a fresher you should always habve the fire in th ebelly to learn things and not show that you know a lot of things.
ATTITUDE should be possitive and optimistic wbut not over confident.
Please see what is happening in HR now, what trends are going on , what are the retention strategies, what employee benefits are org thinking about ?
All the best for your interview

Dear Ms. Nandini,
Our friend Mr. Mohan has given you valuable inputs. I believe these inputs will help you a lot.
As far as experience is concerned you should tell them about your previous employment failing which people will have a doubt on your competency.
In addition to your knowledge you should speak about the company very confidently. So you should prepare yourself well about the company.
On HR front, you should review the new happenings and new dimensions in HR.
Wish you all the best - Good luck
