Hey, I work in an HR advisory firm and currently doing an assignment on employee policy in a small to medium-sized company (typical employee strength 100-200).
The companies falling in the above category belonging to the areas of patent litigation, patent portfolio analysis and technology research, Technology litigation support, and IP.
Can you please provide me some info regarding the same?

I did not understand "Key Associate Exception on reinstatement" part of the document.
What is the reason why you will refuse to reinstate a 'Key associate'
Shouldnt they be more valued and wanted back in the organisation?
I am assuming this is not for an indian company, because many of the rules are different from legal requirement here
Futher, for USA, please refer to the state where the employees are based, because the state labour codes are different and some of the things may be disallowed in a particular state.
