Employer asked to sign letter of intent before joining offer letter, employer asked to sign a bond of 3 years along with a cheque in the pretext of training otherwise offer letter won't be issued. I signed a bond of three years. There environment is stressfull, after serving 2 years there was a health degradation, I put my resignation after 28 months and consulted neurologist.
As per neurologist recommendation that health degradation was due to stress and depression, I attached recommendation to resignation mail and sought early release which was approved by mangers and hr. After 30 months when i completed KT to colleague, handover of asset and closing of account was done, the same accepted as last working day. Employer started asking a huge sum of money for relieving but never justified that where they had invested that money upon me.
They illegally declared me absconding and terminated despite I served my notice period till agreed last working day.
Now employer is using cheque to blackmail me.

Very clever ways of coercing exiting employees. Better consult an expert advocate to safe guard yourself.

You need to consult a criminal lawyer for his opinion in your case but cheque bounce case I do not think so serious, better to have legal points by experts in this profession.

Hello,
Nothing to worry, I suggest you to drop a written complaint against your employer and mention each and everything clearly also attach supporting doc i.e Resignation mail etc. (You can complaint through online portal i.e https://samadhan.labour.gov.in/ or https://jansunwai.up.nic.in/
If labour dept. will unable to settle your case you can consult an expert advocate regarding same.

Alok-Singh1 The original post is 2 years old. Probably long dealt with as there has been no further posts by the OP regarding the outcome.
