I contributed ESI for one year till March 2018 around 350/month. Now my salary scale is varied and there is no contribution. I am pregnant now and my due date may be on January 2019. Is there any possibility to getting any ESI benefits?

For the benefits to accrue during January 2019, the contribution period is from 1st April to 30th September which unfortunately is non-contribution period for you. So you are ineligible as per chart below:

1st April to 30th Sept. 1st Jan of the following year to 30th June

Dear KK!HR,
But she is eligible for maternity benefit under the Maternity Benefit Act. Isn't so?

Yes, the coverage under the Maternity Benefit Act begins once she is out of the ESI coverage.
