Retail selling unlike outdoor selling involves customers & prospects walking into your counter / sales area. Consequently, for up selling and extension selling it will require sales force to sell subtly. Normally this is referred to as suggestive selling. The activities for such aspect of selling will require your counter to be merchandized effectively, show casing new sku's and their benefits. Normally, it is a practise to have an exclusive counter in counter to sell range of products in a counter.

Upselling in certain terms is also viewed as selling upgrades or certain sku's which might go with - example - tea leaves, milk powder or whitener, with cookies or biscuits. The associated products are seen as extension whilst upselling could mean a customer who picks up 2 kgs of cooking oil could instead go in for a 4 kg or 5kg cooking oil at a discount. This way the counter gets a larger wallet share and greater kitchen share for the product.

Most of your requirements can be custom designed. Perhaps you may want to touch base with my office directly at Bangalore at . I would be more than happy to help you professionally.
