Dear All, I am working in construction company as HR Executive and we don’t have salary bifurcation over here so would like to implement the same kindly guide. Thanks & Regards Gayatri

Dear Gayatri,
You may bifurcate the salary as under :
Suppose Gross Salary is RS.20,000/- per month
Basic (40-50 %) = 10000/- the basic should not be less than the minimum wages as applicable
HRA (40% of Basic) = 4000/-
Conveyance Allowance = 800/-
Education Allowance = 200/-
Special Allowance = 5000/-
Total = 20,000/-
By adding the followng the same shall become CTC :
Employer share of PF
Employer share of ESI ( in the cited exp ESI is not applicable)
Bonus
Gratuity
or any other reimbursements

1. It will give you good feeling
2. Income tax purpose
3. Statutory calculation purpose.

Hi Its very imop as main component of salary is basic salary Pf, Esi and other Statutory compliances are calculated on the Basic salary only Regards Nisha Malhotra
