My employer is deducting PF from my salary every month. How I'll come to know that such sums are deposited with govt?
Further on termination of employment, what is the procedure for withdrawal of the PF amount from the account?

Pankaj:
PF is contributed by the employee and as well the employer; this amount would be with the PF commisioner for which there would be a PF account opened on your name by your company
you can ask the Accounts team for your PF number and can ask the blance available into your PF account
Thanks

Hi Mirza..
Yes its very true that those companies who have a strrength of more than 20 employees have to register themselves with PF department, its an obligation of employer.. and after registration they do deduct 12% of your basic and the same amount from their side even and do it deposit with PF fund....
After completion of every financial year, the PF department give an statement of every person who is registered with them to the company representative separately. From them you may collect the same.
It shows the statement of April of previous year to March of current year. And the previous deposited amount also if any.
The PF amount can be withdrawn after the separation from the company. After 60 days of separation you are required to send filled up FORM 10c and FORM 19 the withdrwal forms to teh PF department though previous employer or may send directly even.
Hope it might help you to get the information for the same.

Dear Mirza,
Thank U for such a nice appreciations..
Yes one can get his/her amount from the PF department but only after 60 days of separation from the company. One can claim from that by sending the filled up Form 10C and 19 to the PF department. But it requires the information from the employer side that you must have in your hand.. Like relieving letter from employer..
Mostly it is been done from company side but one may withdraw the same or can transfer the same when get further employment after filling a fund transfer Form...
Hope it must have cleared your query..

Amit:
I am clear with that but is that needed to get a relieving letter for sure from the organization
let me give you an eg: say one organization has 2 partners and hey dissolved the organization due to their problems, one of the partner has asked the employees to work for him and 50-60% of the employees have accepted the offer
in this case, the other partner refuses to relieve and in such case if the other partner has sent a mail stating that to treat his mail as the Relieving letter for the employees who are with him
what can be the parameters or what can be the way to take back the PF amount, what do you suggest on this
let me give this opportunity to all the Users as well so that we can have number of thoughts and views
Thanks

Dear Friends
Most of the friends are asking the method of submitting the claim form of Form 19 and form 10c. I am furnishing below the method of attestation of claim form as per the PF authorities
The claim should perferably be attested y the employer under whom the member was last employed.
If for any reason, the claimant is unable to get the application attested by his ex-employer, he may forward the claim to the Provident fund office duly clarifying the position, after getting it attested by any one of the following authorised officials.
01. Manager of the Bank where the member is holding an account
02.Head of educaitonal Institution
03.A.Gazetted Officer
04.Post/Sub Post master
05.The Magistrate
06.Member of the Central Board of Trustees,
Employees Providen Fund or Regional commitee
07.Chairman/Secretary,member of the Municipal/district/Local Board
08.President of the village union/Panchayat/
Member of parliament/member of legislative assembly and
09.Any other Officer approved by the Regional PF commissioner.
