Hi everyone! I need advice for my career startup. I have done B.E in Information Technology with 70.18% in 2012, Now i am doing MBA in HR and Marketing. I am in my last semester. I have not taken any experience in software job after completing my engineering due to some circumstances.
But at this time, i want to be a "Software Engineer" first then want to implement my MBA skills.
Will there be any problem if i choose the software engineer post after MBA?
If recruiter asks "why have you go for MBA if you want to be a software engineer?" then what will i say?.
Can anybody suggest me and give me a best answer plzzzzz?

Before acquiring a PG qualification like MBA, it is mandatory for anyone to be a graduate. In your case, you are a graduate in Engineering in IT. If you look for an employment as an MBA (your latest qualification), prospects may be better, since your background knowledge of IT will stand to your advantage. No employer may be interested to know why you did not work after BE.

But joining an IT company (as a fresher), as a software engineer, may not be desirable since you now have a gap vis-a-vis another candidate who has just done his/ her BE -IT. Preference may certainly be for a fresh graduate, who may be available to work even as a trainee for 1 year, at low costs. While looking for software engineers, no organization ever searches for MBAs.

In my opinion, your preference should be for a job such as 'HR Analyst'/ 'Customer Support'/ 'Business Analyst' in an IT company which is marketing HR products. These jobs require MBA (HR) & B E (Computers) and some experience as a 'HR generalist'. Since you don't have experience in HR, it may be desirable for you to work as a HR Executive somewhere for 1 - 2 years before you look for such roles. Alternatively, accept this role as a trainee, with a stipend that can sustain you, work with extreme dedication, learn the job with humility and make a career. However, these jobs being 'client - facing', your communication skills in English have to be excellent. Otherwise, no employer may take you in.

Perhaps the above guidelines can make you choose the right path. Wish you all the best.

Thankyou so much B K BHATIA for the advice and guidance. I really need it and appreciate your answer.
But if want to do the position of software engineer, what extra things i have to do for being on such position? You have said preference will be given to freshers but i have just passed two years i.e i m in my 2nd year after b.tech.
Then why is it so? Why i cannot go for Software Engineer post?
