Hi, we have our HO in Mum and in Dlehi if someone joins, their data is send to HO via scan and then they are making ecode, this process take 3 days usually, how we can improve the turn around, as without ecode no IT asset, no access no visiting cards and email could be made, so it takes one week just to give an employee say hello to his colleagues, is there any way to improve this?

Hi Imok,
In this digital world for allotting Emp.Code for a new entrant taking 3days to a week is surprising. You said, employee's joining report is scanned and transmitted to HO then what makes 3-7 days allotting the eCode. Possibly, there is red tapeism to be blamed. There are few suggestions -
1) You can decentralise the procedure of allotting the code, email ID, business card printing
2) You short circuit entire procedure via a video-online-conference call
3) Reorganise the procedure-an entrant shall first report in the HO and directed to join the allotted centre when he/she carry all the kit.
4) As the magnetic swipe card could carry/implanted/loaded with all the details of an employee, first prepare the magnetic card, download the details activate everything in one go. ID & Business cards can be printed in house, may be quantity could be restricted for limited nos.
