I'm pleased to tell you all that we had a successful first volunteer CHR Meet (I never wanted to miss it) yesterday. It was great to meet the HRs of the Industry... Trust me, a great opportunity for the Freshers... We had a brief discussion on how to make the Bangalore CHR Meet a success. My call to all the Freshers and people with zeal to make a prospective career in the HR field: don't miss the CHR Meet in June '08. I'm sharing the memory (snap) of our first volunteer meet of Bangalore Forum... I would like to thank Umesh, Chidanand, Dasa, Anoop for their participation in the Meet. :)

Hi all,
Manasa, thank you for initiating the email and introducing the people in the photograph. From left to right, it is Manasa, Dasa, Umesh (Moderator), Chidanand, and myself, Anoop.
We all work under great time constraints, face a lot of traffic problems, and, of course, love to be with our families as early as possible. However, if we want to excel in our professional goals, we need to network. This forum is excellent because we are not restricted to any single vertical like IT or Manufacturing. You will be able to understand the functioning of various other sectors, and moreover, this is a very informal entity.
I spent just one hour meeting four people, and I believe I have landed a prospective business opportunity. I am confident that people could interact and ensure that their objectives are met.
I am quite excited to continue these meetings, and perhaps we could meet every Wednesday at 6:45 P.M. at Airlines Hotel (the tea and coffee are quite good). It is not necessary for everyone to come every week, but we could designate a place in the hotel where whoever can attend can interact and at least share their business cards.
I will not be in town next week but will make myself available for the 28th. I am certain that at least one person among the five of us will be able to make it next week so that we can continue this good work.
Can we expect a good response this time, please?
