I recently accepted the offer of L&T as PGET and joined from home just a day back. Now I have got a better offer and want to leave L&T.
There was no bond but in the offer letter in the section of termination of appointment a 1 month notice period or an amount equivalent to stipend and allowances in lieu thereof, is mentioned. What will be the best way out?

Best way out is to adhere to the clause mentioned in the Offer letter, issued by L&T. However, please have a personal interaction with HR and/or your reporting officer.

Hi,
You have entered into a contrcat of employmnet ( offer of employmnet as PGET) with mutually agreed terms and conditions.
The terms of contract of offer ,even though you worked for a single day binds you and accordingly you need to pay pone month's stipend to the employer in lieu for month's notice.
Please appreciate the time anf efforts the employer put , to select and offer you the position as PGET and your act to join and just leave tantamount to a sort of fun and the employer may claim one month;s stioend from you .
Please therefore take a firm decision before joinig an organisation especially when you have on hand or anticipate mutiple offers at short period .
I suggest you make an appeal to HR departmnet to relieve you ,waiving the notice period pay ( stipend) with an apologetic tone and probably a positive outome may emerge .
