Dear Members,
Please advise about the constitution of Works Committee,Health & Safety Committee & Other related committees in a Garment Company.

Greetings.
Constitution and working of committee is a big subject. But I will try to explain in a nutshell.
For any committee the following guidelines applicable.
1. There must be a goal and purpose
2. Members must be from all dept which affects the subject of the comm.
3. Time frame for committee meeting, daily, weekly, monthly, bi monthly,
4. Agenda and minutes of meeting.
5. Review of past committee points.
HR person must be co ordinator for all the committees. The findings and working of the committee has to be sent to Board of directors.
Once you start you will come across so many queries and knowledge in committee management.
