Dear,
Distance Law Courses have no values in Banking sector. It is better for you to go for full time L.L.B. course. For working in Law department is it necessary in your Bank to have Law Degree? Examination of various banking documents can be done on the basis of experience. You should have sufficient knowledge of your Bank's Advances port folio. The documents required for various types of Fund base & Non fund base facilities. For filling suits against defaulting borrower must be entrusted to your Bank's panel advocates & in that case you have to read, examine and understand each & every document which are necessary for filling suit. On the basis of Law degree you can'r appear in court on behalf of Bank. You can appear only as representative of Bank. You should have sufficient knowledge of laws applicable i.e SARFAESI Act-2002 with all provisions, 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act etc.

Dear,
You may go for full time L.L.B. course. Simple L.L.B. degree will not serve the purpose. You should take more interest in Loan & Advances section of your Bank. Pl everybody feels good while availing loan & Advances from Banks but whenever you go for recovery of public money, everybody will start guessing you differently. In regular Banking there are very few things of learning but in Loans & Advances section you can learn more which will help you in building your career.
