Dear All, Is it compulsory for private companies to keep their office shut? What will be the adverse effect? Our company won’t declare a holiday for election.

It seems many companies will declare 2/3 hours concession for casting the votes, is it fine ? or the full day holiday needs to be declared ?

It depends upon the continuity and criticality of the business. It's a company's call whether to declare time off or give a concession of 2 hours from the regular working hours. Please refer to clause no. 4.1 and 4.2; it's very clear.
