The purpose of forming a club is appreciable. But before doing so you should consider the ground realities on these aspects -
1. The age groups of women on employment
2. How many of them
3. What are the aims & scope of forming such a club and how this thought or necessity to form came into limelight?
4. What is the proximity of work place to their dwellings
5. What type of facilities & activities your co. proposing to provide for
6. Are you aware of the financial and other commitments involved and can afford the initial expenditure and recurring expenses. If any subscription for membership is to be imposed whether they are willing to contribute/share?
7. Is it going to be only for women employees or for their families as well.
8. Is it going to be registered society or unregistered like welfare clubs.
9. Do you think of any other commercial /welfare activities for the benefit of members like consumer co-op., training facilities for learning skills like-tailoring, hand/art work, cooking, yoga, health club-conducting free health check up etc.
This club should rightly be on 'no loss no gain basis' so that financial burden is not passed on to your firm if it's not able to afford.
