Dear Please correct me if I am wrong, but in my opinion, the maximum you can contribute in VPF is 8% of (Basic + DA) i.e. {12% mandatory + 8% VPF = 20%} dsv

Max Limit for VPF is 12%. People who are paying more will face problems during withdrawal.

Hi, if an employee would like to contribute to the Voluntary Provident Fund, he can do so up to a maximum of 12% on his basic salary + DA. However, there is no obligation on the part of the employer to contribute to the VPF opted by the employee. The employee has to give his consent for VPF, and the same has to be forwarded to EPFO for processing.

There is no limit for VPF, employee can contribute 100% from BASIC and DA. Checked with EPFO Bommansandra Branch Enforcement officer.
