Hello Choton,
Though salary slips confirm your employment and your salary details with your current employer,
If you are able to give your appointment letter or confirmation letter it always is safer.
Secondly, the salary slip might be taken into consideration in the case if you do not have appointment letters etc, only if the salary slip has details as such -
1) Employer's name (Company's name, address, contact details)
2) Your full name & designation
3) Your date of joining
4) Month for which the salary is given.
5) Particulars of salary with proper deductions and stating reasons for same.
6) Signature of the authority.
However will suggest to wait for senior's advises.

Dear Choton12345,
Bank statement you can use to lead evidence for your employment and salary.
You are Asst. Professor in college. Why you need a certificate of work experience? Why you need a separate certificate of salary? You make use of the bank statement if your college is not giving you such documents.
I never show or carry with me any certificate any where. At certain level, people should trust you. We should create our own image such a way that people should see the certificate on our face.
Each employer should give all such documents due to his employees. But if no such documents are given, what people like us can do? Nothing.
One can differ with me.

Dear Choton, Apart from Ankita's comments... to answer your question.
Yes the xerox of cheque and credit in bank statement is enough to prove your employment and income proof.
Sometimes orgn's are in a hurry to acquire talent and ask potential candidates to 'just join immediately'. They consider bank statement / cheque xerox AND acceptance of resignation as valid doc for employment.
If you decide to move in to better opportunities... make two resignation letters.. word it nicely.. mention your joining date.. last working date.. take acceptance of resignation signature from your superior. That should do.
Good Luck

Dear Choton,
If your salary is credit in your bank , then it is enough for you to show for your working duration from first to last hand, the reason behind that if you are not working then you will not get any credit amount in your account.
Thats clear and another point of view that you get salary by cheque with specified bank , so your income proff is on your hand. Don't worry about your experiance certificate. If you prove that you are best then there is no worry for your experiance certificate.

Dear Choton,
You have not explained why the need arises for your query ? Is't that your present employer refused to give a certificate of experience ? Normally Exp.Certificate is issued when one leaves any organisation. In your case you R still in employment and you wish to attend an interview and U require a certificate of employment from your present employer to be shown to them, am I correct ? First U ask them for such a certificate and when refused then U can show your apptt.letter and other documents like bank pass book etc. Acceptance of these circumstantial evidences depends on the requirement of your prospective employer. U cannot take them for granted. For instance when your competitors produce valid certificates, U, without such certificate how can be preferred ? But still exceptional candidates can be selected and appointment could be reserved subject to production of necessary credentials. Don't panic try to obtain and give a try. All the best.
