Could someone suggest what is the best way to move to a rewards/C&B profile. I started off with an HR generalist profile and in 2015 i got to know about this course - Certified Rewards Professional from Aon hewitt and took the course. But so far i havent got any opportunity since my background was HR generalist and after that got an opportunity into learning and development. The course content (aon - CRP) was great but it was fast paced and i applied to many jobs in rewards in Aon itself many times but never got a response. They charge a bomb for it and honestly i dont think the program delivers. Nor did i get my money's worth. It is at best good for those who are already into the rewards and C&B and are looking for growth. I would really appreciate suggestions on the same. I have already networked with some people with rewards profile on linkedin but they just add you as their connection and dont help afterwards. So networking hasn't been useful so far.

Transitioning from an HR generalist to a specialized area like Rewards/Compensation & Benefits (C&B) can be challenging but not impossible. To succeed, assess your skills, gain practical experience, seek mentorship, expand your knowledge base, customize your resume and LinkedIn profile, apply strategically, network effectively, consider contract or project roles, stay persistent and positive, and seek feedback and continuous improvement. By leveraging your existing skills and experience, you can enhance your prospects and achieve your career goals.
