Kumarji, Never change your bank account for PF/ Pension purpose. Let salary go in any bank account where your company desies. Regds,

You should mention your Saving Account No., if you have SBM account (previous salary account) convert it into a saving account if you don’t have any.

Dear RDSYADAV Sir and Saji Sir,

Thanks for reply, But still i am little confused sorry for that. So what i want to clarify is when in joined previous company the company created the salary account for me and that was linked to my UAN or PF if i am not wrong, But now i have moved to new company here they have created new salary account in different bank because they dont have tie up with SBM Bank.

So should i mention saving account number which i have in Canara Bank and i should not mention previous company or current company salary account is this is what you are saying please clarify.

One more thing in the document as bottom they have mentioned Note: Saying " The Bank A/C details are for verification purpose even if the Fund is transferred to the EPFO Office/ Trust maintaining the present

account number" So what does this mean is it saying salary account only should be mentioned (If so present or previous company) or any my personal savings account. SO if i mention my personal Saving account in canara bank which was never used for salary puprpose in any company is it OK sir?.

Put your Canara bank saving account
It's the account you plan to keep irrespective of which comoany you join
Else after you leave money will go to some account you may have closed in the meantime

Dear Mr. Kumar,
Please do one and only UAN is just my advice as its likely that your saving account in Canara Bank SAVING ACCOUNT ,suppose is not operational if you are operating other saving account, you may find difficulty in tracking the same. Always keep operational this saving account and remember also that PF/ EPS is linked / locked with Saving account in Canara Bank .Its for your convenience also and should be easy to remember ,Regds,

Dear Mr. Kumar,
Sorry, I missed second query to respond about the remarks as footnote.I think this remark in general idvises that member employee must not guess that money has been deposited in Saving account in bank directly. Obviously money is with EPFO or Trust as the case may be whosoever is maintaining funds until member employee has been contributing to it,.

You have mentioned that your previous Company's Salary Account i.e. SBM account is linked with your previous UAN, you must tell your present employer to link your PF with the old UAN wherein the SBM account is linked so need to give new Saving Account No. You have to keep your SBM Account operational till you withdraw the PF Amount.

Thanks SASWATABANERJEE and RDSYADAV Sir for reply,
I dont know which bank account is currently linked and locked in PF office for now, But in the form 13 when i fill i will update this Saving Account number of Canara Bank.
One thing i wanted to say all these doubts started because every time when i join company when i use to fill joining forms there was one point saying Link Salary Acoount with UAN number, This got me confused because each new company will link present salary account to PF/UAN i guess. So i thought current salary account should be mentioned because it is already verified by Employer.
Sorry if i have confused anyone on this. I usually believe understanding things properly.
I just found two types of Revised Form13 Forms which i have attached, In this one has bank account details to be entered and one doesn't have that option. Which is the right type of Form 13.

You can mention ur currently bank a/c no: also...or anyother a/c where u hold as SB A/c....no harm
Nowdays banks are closing / de-activating the accounts where they doesn,t see any salary flow of any employee.
So safe side mention current bank ac.
