Business Development is to design, organise and implement marketing strategies to develop business.
Major areas included in Business Development are:
Formulation of marketing plans and strategies to achieve desired results.
Provide support to the team in relevant product line.
Facilitation of higher customer satisfaction.
Creation of product promotion materials as and when required.
Undertaking market survey, competitors activities and new product requirements.
Increasing productivity through customer visits.

JO1: To develop and execute a sales strategy that will result in new business (prospecting, sales calls, presentations, proposals and closing business).



DELIVERABLES:

D01 Establish and manage an effective Business Development team. D02 Establish and manage a Communications and Pursuit Strategy team.

D03 Account mapping and Management, Relationship Management and Customer Mining D04 Engage target clients and obtain business requirements.

Are you a Software Company
Are you Manufacturing Company
Are you a Business Sector- Wholesale or Retail.
Whatever may be the type of business the following general points may help you.
You need to study your competitors and their share in the market
How does your product or service is unique or different from others.
You need to hire an agency for market research and submit a report.
Based on that you need to stratagize to place your product/services in the competitive Market.
You need place an advertisement in Both Print & Electronic Media
Rigorous follow ups for orders to be done.
You need to maintain the time schedule for delivery.
Giving presentation in public platforms like that of Industrial Associations, Educational Institutions etc to promote your product.
In case it is FM-CG product, clothing or footwear and tourist bags etc can be displayed at Malls and Big Bazaars.
In it is export oriented products or machinates it can be showcased in the Export/Industrial Exhibitions which enhances your brand equity in the market.
