hello ,
i am doing internship in an MNC company which deals in financial security services.
as i have gone through there HRD i have observed that they are not into employee engagement activities (EEA)...
i was on this thinking note that in today's scenario EEA is very much important in any indusrty.because retaining the talented people is what company has to focus more somewhere i feel this..
so here i was thinking i should start with some activities which can enhances learning and team building and bring some more positivity at work place....
i want view point from all of you...
is it right what im thinking...?
if so than what activities can be incorporated as EEA?

Employee Engagement basically is employee connected defined for positive environment, commitment and moivation in Organizational development and benefits. The blended definition that Human Resources define is EE is an emotional connection that an employee feels for the organization to wield effort discretely on ones own work".

EE Activities are mandatory for any small or large companies as they bind together in cognitive sense of commitment and give their best marked with high productivity and workforce. Global reaserch studies and discussions have got employee engagement into an angle where companies like haygroup, coco-cola etc; have proven that EE does financially better with increaisng profits compared to companies that doesn't do much on these activities.

To build an enhanced and strategic engagement programs you can design as it when goes by the companystandards - Employee Awards and Recognition, Picnics & gatherings, Company dinner's or concert arrangement (any related to entertainment) & giving relaxing day off also is one amongst the certained activity.

Companies can promote employee welfare programs better implemented and administered internally and can keep employees active by spreading Newsletters, Postings (email, pinboards) etc. In my opinion each company should understand that an employee toils for the betterment of the organization.

May I call it a due recognition and/or employee right.
