I feel today mental harrassment is more prevalent as everybody knows there is no law for the same...seniors can exploit their juniors very easily by taunting , insulting in front of others , bullying them...not fostering them ,their actions can make juniors to feel low.

In real sense the seniors has to feel the mentality of their juniors, they should understand that a day will come when juniors will become seniors. But since they don't try to understand the fact. The deviation of juniors and seniors is totally wrong. The juniors realizes that seniors must be given due respect and do obey their orders. seniors do exploit their juniors very easily by taunting , insulting in front of others may create a depth among seniority.

The smooth running of an organization depends on harmonious relation between juniors and seniors. Today's seniors were yesterday;s juniors similarly today's juniors will become tomorrows seniors, then why there is a difference in mentality since both are essential part of an organization.

So seniors are seniors and they should be given respect and their orders must be obeyed, but on the other side juniors have also right to get affection from their seniors. This gap must be filled in with the help of love and affection.

Hello Everyone
I have just came accross with the following on one of the legal based site
"As a result of the growing importance of the issues relating to sexual harassment and protection of female employees in India, a new section3 was added to the Indian Penal Code, 1860 through the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 20134 , which enlists the acts which constitute the offence of sexual harassment and further envisages penalty / punishment for such acts. A man committing an offence under this section is punishable with imprisonment, the term of which may range between 1 - 3 years or with fine or both. Since the amendment criminalizes all acts of sexual harassment, employers shall be required to report any offences of sexual harassment to the appropriate authorities."
Is this mean that all sexual harassment at workplace cases to be filed as FIR with police?

Shruti

The purpose of intervention is to minimize or remove the malady. Has this intervention done so,in any case?
